Hello and welcome to my personal webpage!

I am  Célia Richy (she/her), a PhD candidate in sociolinguistics at Queen Mary University of London and funded by LISS-DTP (ESRC) . My research focuses on linguistic coherence in the context of intermediate varieties. In particular, I investigate patterns of implicational scaling and co-occurrence of linguistic variables in production, as well as the effect of variable clusters in speech perception. Questions of combinatorial indexicalities and effect of absence of features are of particular interests.

I am supervised by Prof. Devyani Sharma, Dr. Sophie Holmes-Elliott and Dr. Jonathan Kasstan.
